Beautifully renovated room, unfortunately only accessible via stairs, without elevator. But the staff was ready to carry the suitcase up when asked. No air conditioning, therefore very warm in the room.
No elevator available. Very warm in the room. A little out of the way.

The staff were outstandingly accommodating and super-friendly. The motel has nice views of the marina. It is in a marvelous location close to a heritage-listed park. Conveniently located just off Salamanca markets and the Taste of Tasmania festival. Close to the theatre, Hobart, and Salamanca market.

Location between Battery Point and Sandy Bay was excellent. Close to many restaurants, Salamanca Place and the city.
Motel is old fashioned and decor is tired, though clean enough. There are many stairs and no elevator. Parking is difficult to access and inadequate for the number of rooms. Service over the weekend was minimal.
